Dyslexia and Inclusive Practice: From Understanding to Action Professional Learning Activity
Mission Superheroes:

This free self-directed Professional Learning Activity (PLA) has been developed to support educators working with and supporting dyslexic children and young people. It explores the current Scottish education context, highlights the strengths and challenges faced by dyslexic children and young people and provides examples of effective strategies to support all learners in an inclusive setting
This professional learning activity is one of two that builds on the work of the Sean Connery Foundation Dyslexia Initiative which took place in the City of Edinburgh and the work of Mission Dyslexia and Mission Superheroes. Further information on these initiatives can be accessed in the links below: They have been developed specifically to share practice and approaches which have been successfully used in support of children and young people.
The development of the two professional learning resources has been funded by a grant from HSBC UK Bank.
